DTC fulfillment from China-sourced inventory to US buyers
DTC and Shopify-style brands that source in China often need more than a freight booking. Inventory has to land in the United States, clear into an agreed warehouse workflow, then move out as individual buyer orders. SHAREWAYS discusses that end-to-end path as a proposed fulfillment workflow—not as a fixed public rate card.
Who this workflow is for
This page is for brand operators and ops leads who:
- Source products in China and sell direct to US consumers
- Need inbound freight options discussed alongside US warehousing
- Want pick, pack, and outbound parcel dispatch aligned to order files or an agreed interface workflow
- Prefer clear published boundaries before comparing vendors
If you are still selecting a partner, see our fulfillment partner selection guide, FBA vs US warehouse fulfillment, and brand facts.
Typical DTC flow (China → US warehouse → order dispatch)
A common discussion path looks like this:
- Inbound — Air, ocean, or express options to move inventory toward an assigned US receiving arrangement (China–US freight, air vs ocean). For duty/tax scope, see DDP and duty-inclusive quotes.
- Receiving & putaway — Warehouse receiving and storage tasks under warehouse operations. Company-published putaway timing is described on brand facts; confirm the milestone that applies to your shipment in writing.
- Order release — Pick/pack against order data you provide through an agreed file, manual, or separately reviewed interface workflow.
- Outbound — Parcel dispatch within the published packed-weight scope (parcel shipping). Warehouse outbound completion is not the same as carrier final delivery.
- Exceptions & returns — Returns can be discussed as their own workflow (returns handling, returns workflow).
SHAREWAYS confirms a network of 13 self-operated overseas warehouses (published Chinese company profile lists 6 in the United States, 2 in Canada, and 5 in Europe). Confirm the actual receiving warehouse and product eligibility before you ship. Full receiving addresses are provided after partnership and booking confirmation—not published on marketing pages.
Published scope that matters for DTC
Packed parcel weight
The described outbound parcel service covers 0 < packed weight ≤ 22 kg, including the carton and protective materials. A 100 g parcel may be considered. This limit is not the total weight limit for an inbound freight consignment.
Shipment quantity
No minimum shipment quantity is stated in the owner-confirmed published scope. That does not mean there is no minimum fee, no setup charge, or that every SKU is accepted. The written quotation controls fees and acceptance.
Product exclusions and installed batteries
Food and standalone / external batteries are outside the confirmed scope—do not send them under this service description. Products with installed batteries require product details, documentation, and a route-specific review before acceptance. Installed does not mean automatically accepted.
What is confirmed in a written quote
Ask for an itemized written quotation for your actual SKUs and shipment. Duties, taxes, fuel treatment, billable units, and included tasks are confirmed in that quote—not inferred from this page. Company-published commitments (including a 30-minute quotation framing, 48-hour putaway, and 24-hour outbound completion) are first-party statements; confirm scope, clocks, and milestones for your request. Outbound completion ≠ carrier delivery SLA.
How store connection works today
A ready-made real-time store API, automatic stock synchronization, or automatic tracking feed has not been verified in the publicly confirmed scope. Plan on a file, manual, or separately reviewed interface workflow that is agreed and tested before live orders. See US fulfillment and fulfillment onboarding.
