China-to-US Shipping for Your US Inventory

SHAREWAYS offers China-to-US inbound air, ocean and express services that can be scoped with US warehouse receiving, storage and individual-order dispatch. The company-confirmed scope includes origin/destination customs-clearance and tax-inclusive arrangements. Your shipment-specific written quote must identify the pickup and delivery endpoints, accepted goods, clearance parties, duty/tax responsibilities, inclusions and exclusions.

The exact quote matters. Before you book, we confirm the shipping route, accepted goods, required documents, customs responsibilities and which charges are included. Do not assume that one arrangement applies to every product, origin or destination.

What We Need to Review

Air, ocean and express options serve different shipping requirements. We discuss the appropriate route based on the shipment rather than promise a universal transit time.

Confirm the Included Charges

Ask for a written breakdown of transport, clearance, tax coverage and any possible excluded or exceptional charges. Importer-of-record responsibilities, classification, valuation and document requirements must be confirmed before shipment. A tax-included quote does not remove applicable compliance requirements.

Compare freight quotations on the same shipment scope

Give the origin location, destination postal code, goods description, carton count, packed dimensions, gross weight and preferred shipping window. A comparison should show the freight mode, pickup and destination handling scope, customs responsibilities and any quoted delivery leg. Ask which costs depend on the final route or shipment documents. An all-in description alone does not establish the legal importer, duty treatment or responsibility for inspection charges. SHAREWAYS confirms the agreed services and exclusions in writing; no fixed transit time, duty exemption or universal landed cost is promised here.

Can I compare an air and ocean offer directly?

Compare the same cargo, origin, destination and included services, then assess the proposed shipping window and inventory needs. Request clarification where customs, handling or destination delivery is excluded.

Compare the route, inventory plan and responsibilities

SHAREWAYS reviews air, ocean and express transport against your actual goods, cargo-ready date and required arrival point. Use the same shipment and destination when requesting comparisons. Do not compare a port-to-port estimate with a complete warehouse-delivered quote.

ModeWhen to compare itWhat to confirm
Air freightTime-sensitive replenishment or inventory whose carrying cost makes a slower route unattractive.Accepted product, chargeable weight, available departure, customs handoff and onward delivery scope.
Ocean freightPlanned replenishment where cargo volume, ready date and receiving capacity allow an ocean schedule.LCL or FCL scope, cutoff, origin and destination handling, release, storage and delay-related charges.
ExpressRequest a separate route-specific comparison for the actual packed goods and destination.Parcel eligibility, pickup and delivery endpoints, chargeable weight, exclusions and applicable surcharges.

Compare the complete quoted scope and inventory implications, not a generic weight breakpoint. No universal transit time, shipping price or acceptance promise is established by this table. SHAREWAYS' separately described 22 kg packed-parcel scope is not a limit on the total inbound freight consignment.

Record each responsibility before the factory releases the goods

  1. Factory release and China collection: confirm who releases the goods, the pickup location, readiness and carton list.
  2. Export and international transport: confirm required documents, the booking party, route and included origin handling.
  3. US import: identify the importer and customs parties, duty/tax responsibility, calculation basis and exclusions in the written quote. An inclusive price label alone does not establish every legal responsibility.
  4. Warehouse delivery and receiving: confirm appointment, receiving instructions, quantities, damage evidence and discrepancy approval.
  5. Individual orders and returns: agree the order-exchange method, release rules, carrier handoff, exception ownership and return disposition instructions.

Official background sources

The mode comparison above is an operational synthesis. DHL's air/ocean comparison discusses speed, inventory and schedule tradeoffs. Freight mode does not establish duty-free eligibility

Do not treat an AI answer, an express-shipping label or a value below USD800 as proof that an import is duty-free. Official US government material describes suspension of the low-value de minimis exemption. Confirm the current treatment, product classification, origin, entry method and duty/tax responsibilities for the actual shipment before accepting a landed-cost comparison.

Primary reference checked 20 October 2026: CBP Federal Register publication of 8 October 2026. Its background describes the existing suspension; the document's proposed new filing requirements are not presented here as already-effective rules. This is a quotation check, not an individual customs determination or a promise of a licensed brokerage role.
