Receiving and Warehouse Handling for US Inventory

SHAREWAYS supports receiving and counting goods, storage, labeling and replacement packaging for an agreed US warehouse workflow. The goal is to define what the warehouse should do with your goods before the first shipment arrives.

Receiving

Provide an inbound inventory list and carton details before arrival. Agree on how quantities will be counted, how differences or visible damage will be recorded and who should approve any corrective action.

Storage and Preparation

Discuss storage requirements and any labels or packaging changes needed before orders are shipped. Give us the approved label files, product identifiers and packaging instructions. Special handling and extra work should be agreed in advance and included in the quote.

Order Fulfillment

Before fulfillment starts, both teams agree on order submission, stock information, shipping instructions and exception handling. Platform interfaces and data exchange are confirmed after cooperation is agreed; this page does not claim a prebuilt connection to any particular platform.

No minimum shipment quantity is currently required under the owner-confirmed scope. Product eligibility, the packaged weight and carrier requirements still apply. Obtain the current storage and handling charges for your actual inventory profile.

From a China supplier to US storage and individual orders

After you select a China supplier

If you are sourcing products in China, review the factory-release and receiving handoff before arranging transport. SHAREWAYS can discuss China-US freight together with the receiving and warehouse work described here. Provide the supplier pickup location, product and SKU list, carton quantities, packed weights and dimensions, goods-ready date and requested US receiving plan. Agree who releases the goods, what documents accompany them and who resolves a quantity or condition difference.

This is a logistics handoff review after supplier selection; this page does not offer supplier discovery, purchasing, supplier payment or a product-quality guarantee. Review the freight scope · Prepare the shipment inputs.

Plan US storage around the inventory you expect to hold

SHAREWAYS discusses US receiving, storage and handling against your SKU and stock profile. Provide expected units and cartons by SKU, intended storage duration, replenishment pattern and any approved labeling or packaging work. Ask for the billable storage unit, measurement basis, billing interval, minimum charges and separately charged receiving or handling tasks in the written quote. No minimum shipment quantity does not mean storage is free or that every special handling request is accepted.

Before sending stock, confirm the assigned receiving address and booking instructions through the agreed operating channel. Keep sellable stock, held stock and returns awaiting a decision distinguishable in the agreed inventory record. Compare storage and handling fee units · Check the published service boundaries.

Agree one release instruction for each individual order

SHAREWAYS can review individual-order fulfillment from the agreed US inventory. Provide expected order volume, SKU quantities per order, finished parcel weights and dimensions, destinations and requested shipping services. Agree the order reference and revision, how receipt is acknowledged, who approves release, the change or cancellation cutoff and the status evidence returned after handling.

A duplicate file must not be treated as permission for another dispatch. Acknowledgement, warehouse outbound completion, carrier acceptance and final delivery are separate milestones. Confirm the exchange method for your project; a ready-made real-time store API is not assumed. Review the order handoff · Check parcel acceptance inputs · Request a receiving, storage and dispatch quote.

Write handling instructions that can be checked

Receiving and handling instructions should identify each SKU, expected quantities, carton or item labels and the work you want performed. For labeling or repacking, provide the approved label file, placement instructions and packaging requirements before work begins. Define what happens when quantities do not match or goods arrive damaged: the evidence required, the contact for a decision and which actions need approval. SHAREWAYS discusses ordinary warehouse handling within the confirmed service scope. Regulatory relabeling, certified testing and licensed professional repair must not be inferred from a general warehouse service description.

What helps prevent handling misunderstandings?

Use a SKU-level instruction sheet with quantities, approved label artwork, placement and packaging requirements. Agree on the approval path for shortages, damage or unclear instructions before the inbound shipment.
